"Forensic utilization of NADRA's biometric and textual database"

The rising menace of terrorism and identity theft is not only resulting in loss of life, but is also causing financial damage to the population and economies.

With the world facing an increased number of travelers, movement of funds and threats, technology is the only means left to minimize the perils to human life, property and the fiscal health. The recent maturity of biometrics and technologies that enable large databases, have offered multi-modal biometric systems as the best solutions to curb such hazards.

This presentation focuses on NADRAís extra-ordinary library of data that houses multiple biometrics and texts. It highlights the threat confronted by Pakistan and demonstrates the successful application of this technology in creating a realm that exposes criminals and also provides governance for the society.
